Conditions We Treat
ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders affecting children. It is usually diagnosed in childhood but it also affects many adults. An estimated 8.4% of children and 2.5% of adults have ADHD. ADHD is often first identified in school-aged children when it leads to disruption in the classroom or problems with schoolwork. It is more common among boys than girls.
At You In Mind Behavioral Health, we understand the challenges often associated with treatment for ADHD. Fortunately, currently available treatments such as psychotherapy, medication, training, or a combination of treatments often reduce symptoms and improves functioning. We will work with our patients and families to develop the best treatment plan for their symptoms.
